Blue Quilled Flowers on Wooden Home Decor: Handcrafted Wall Sign Inspiration

There’s something so warm and comforting about combining paper art with natural wood. For this project, I wanted to brighten up a wooden sign featuring the phrase "LOVE makes a house a HOME" by adding a cheerful cluster of blue blossoms.

I played with a mix of sky blue and bright sapphire shades to give the arrangement depth and contrast against the warm wood grain. The larger sky-blue flowers feature delicate open looped petals with clustered yellow centers, while the smaller royal-blue blossoms tuck in around them to complete the bouquet. For the greenery, I paired tiny olive sprigs with two-tone green marquise leaves to pull the whole piece together.
