Every now and then, a project comes along that completely takes over my studio space—and this was definitely one of them! Back in 2020, I had the pleasure of creating a massive holiday installation for a high-end cosmetics showroom in Warsaw .
The vision was a soft, dreamlike winter display, so I handcrafted 150 individual quilled snowflake ornaments . Each piece featured its own unique combination of crisp white paper coils—from delicate starbursts and diamond rays to open filigree loops . To bring the installation to life, all 150 snowflakes were suspended inside a giant, floating "snowy cloud" made of fresh white gypsophila (baby's breath) flowers .
Seeing all those hours of rolling and shaping paper come together into a floating cloud of winter magic was incredible
