Crimped Husking Quilling Flower – Textured Paper Flower

Here is another version of my husking quilling flower, this time made with delicate blue crimped paper strips. The fine texture gives the petals a lively, intricate look and makes the flower feel almost like it is gently unfolding.

I made the green leaves using the husking technique. These leaves quickly became one of my favorite quilling elements, and I have used them in many of my projects since.

I love how this simple variation on the husking technique can create such a rich and detailed floral design.
