Pastel Paper Quilling Floral Composition

I love creating flowers from paper, especially when I can combine different shapes, colors and tiny details into one composition. This 3D paper quilling floral arrangement was created in a soft pastel palette of pink, white, light blue, pale green and yellow.

The whole composition is arranged inside a round wooden embroidery hoop. The large pink and white flowers are the main focus, with delicate open-loop petals and raised yellow centers that give them a lovely three-dimensional look.

I also added smaller blue and white flowers, tiny pink buds and lots of soft-green quilled leaves and sprigs. The long green paper strips at the bottom create delicate stems and help bring the whole arrangement together.

I really enjoy how the pastel colors make this piece feel light and gentle, while all the small quilled details give it plenty of texture and dimension.

Quilled Cosmos Flowers – Paper Husking Quilling

Cosmos flowers have always reminded me of childhood and warm summer days. Their delicate petals inspired me to recreate them using paper and the husking technique.

For these flowers, I wove 3 mm paper strips around pins arranged in a pattern, creating individual petals and leaves. Once the pieces were formed, I assembled them into delicate cosmos flowers.

I really enjoy this technique because it allows you to create very detailed shapes from simple strips of paper.

 These handmade cosmos flowers are a little piece of childhood nostalgia transformed into paper art.
