Yellow and Amber Quilled Flowers – 3D Paper Quilling Card

This handmade paper quilling card features a warm floral design in shades of yellow, amber and green. Two large quilled flowers with dark brown centers are surrounded by delicate yellow buds and smaller bell-shaped flowers.

Flowing green leaves made with open-loop quilling add movement and give the composition a natural, elegant look. The 3D paper flowers are arranged on a white cardstock panel with a subtle green border.

This card is a simple example of how paper quilling strips can be shaped into beautiful flowers, leaves and delicate floral details.

Purple Quilled Flowers – Paper Quilling Inspiration

Discover this handmade quilled wedding card featuring elegant purple flowers, 3D paper quilling, delicate leaves, and on-edge quilling details. A unique paper quilling design created as inspiration for a beautiful handmade wedding card.

A handmade quilled wedding card featuring purple flowers, initials and an ampersand made from 3 mm paper strips using the on-edge quilling technique. Two symmetrical floral arrangements create a balanced design, finished with an irregular on-edge quilling frame.

A close-up of my signature paper quilling style, featuring a rich purple floral composition with layered flowers, fringed blossoms, delicate leaves and quilled sprigs. The asymmetrical arrangement creates a natural diagonal flow across the white textured background, finished with elegant purple flourishes.

Vintage Handmade Card with a Bird and Quilling Cage | Scrapbooking

Today I'm sharing another handmade card, featuring a little bird that has escaped from its cage.

I wanted to create something light and slightly vintage, so I used papers in soft, muted colours and added a few distressed details. The edges were inked and distressed, with machine stitching and cotton lace adding a cosy handmade feel.

The birdcage is made entirely from paper using the quilling technique. I really enjoyed creating this delicate little detail and making the bird look as if it had just flown out of the cage.

The bird was stamped, distressed and coloured to match the rest of the card. I also added a little sparkle to the branch for a subtle finishing touch.
